Camp address
5:45 & Great Oak
Black Rock City, 2026. G is Great Oak this year — seven blocks back from the Esplanade, on the 3:00 side of Center Camp. Ride out Great Oak until the clock reads 5:45, between the 5:30 and 6:00 radials, and look for the flame.
- Nearest plaza: 4:30 & Great Oak — same street, straight shot.
- Frontage: the bar faces Great Oak. Todo confirm width.
- Plot size: Todo ft frontage × Todo ft deep.
- Nearest portos: Todo.
Great Oak is a long way out — closer to the back of the city than the front. Give yourself the extra ten minutes on a bike, and remember the street order: Esplanade, Ararat, Bodhi, Ceiba, Delphi, Eternal, Fulcrum, Great Oak, Heiau, Iroko, Jiba, Kundalini.
Getting to camp
- Gate opens Sunday at 12:01am for the 2026 build week — check the official gate hours before you leave.
- Expect 2–8 hours in the gate line. Bring water for the wait, not just for camp.
- Tell a lead your real ETA. Someone will meet you and point you at your spot.
- Arriving on a build day? Check in at the shade structure first — don't set up on top of where infrastructure is going.
Find us on the map
Drawn from the 2026 city plan: streets Esplanade through Kundalini, radials every half hour (every quarter hour flanking 3:00 and 9:00), and the four Great Oak plazas at 3:00, 4:30, 7:30 and 9:00. Block spacing is even here rather than to scale — the official 2026 plan is the authority.
Camp layout
The plan

- Middle: communal shade, lounge, and the hot sauce wall.
- Back: personal tents and shiftpods, quietest zone.
- Far corner: generator, fuel, greywater tank — keep clear.
- RVs/vans: along one edge, per placement rules.
